Ship Construction and Stability Level 2

This course provides the student with knowledge of ship construction and vessels stability specific to large fishing vessels. Topics covered include catch handling, practical use of stability data supplied to fishing vessels, fishing vessel types and construction methods, and effect of vessel and gear modification on vessel’s stability.

This course does not require approval by the Private Training Institution Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training. As such, PTIB did not review this course.
