MED Domestic Vessel Safety (Formerly MED A1/A2)

This course provides new Canadian seafarers sailing on passenger vessels, workboats, or fishing vessels on voyages in Canadian waters with the knowledge and skills to prevent shipboard incidents, including fire; prepare and respond effectively to onboard emergency situations or drills, and assist in their own survival and rescue.

This course does not require approval by the Private Training Institution Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training. As such, PTIB did not review this course.
