Leadership & Managerial Skills
This advanced course is designed to provide students at the management level with the non-technical skills in human factors to control the operation of the ship and care for the people on board. This course meets the requirements of STCW 2010 Manila Amendments and Transport Canada TP 15337E.
This course does not require approval by the Private Training Institution Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training. As such, PTIB did not review this course.
Leadership & Teamwork. Students must have a certificate of competency at least at the officer level (Nautical, Engineering or Electro-tech) and at least 6 months of sea service after acquiring a certificate of competency at the officer level.
