Do not be dissuaded by distance. Your career goals are unique and the pursuant of such goals shouldn’t be on hold because of everyday life. Irrespective of your location , WMI is bringing the classroom to you.
We now offer a selected number of courses online. Please see the list below for schedule and cost.

- A reliable laptop or desktop computer with:
- at least a 13-inch screen
- front facing camera/microphone that can handle Zoom
- ability to download applications (if borrowing a computer, permission may need to be gained from the administrator)
- 75 MB of permanent space on the hard drive (Windows)
- 120 MB of permanent space on the hard drive (Mac)
A tablet or smartphone alone will not be sufficient to complete all your coursework. You must have a laptop or desktop computer.
- Operating System (OS)
- Windows: Windows 11, Windows 10, or Windows 8
- Mac: MacOS 10.12 or higher
- Reliable internet connection
- 20mbps or more (recommended)
- Digital camera or smartphone (used to submit any work done by hand to instructor)
- Printer
- Your computer must be able to run the following applications:
- PDF Reader (Adobe Acrobat, etc)
- Internet Browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge)
- Zoom (system requirements)
- Canvas (system requirements)
Complete the registration form on our website if you know the course you are registering for or call us to discuss which course(s) will best suit your career goals.
2. Make Payments:
Call us to pay the required course fee. This can be done over the phone with a credit card or by e-transfer. E-transfer details will be provided over the phone.
3. Sign Your Contract Online:
Upon payment, a welcome email with your registration letter (student handbook, course outline as attachments) and student contract is sent via two separate emails. Locate the DataWitness email (contract) and follow the steps to sign it electronically.
4. Upload IDs & other documents:
You are required to submit a government issued identification. You can upload this online by logging into the student portal on the school website. Your log in details and steps are contained in the welcome email.
5. Inform Us of Completed Documentation:
Upon signing your contract online and uploading the required document, send us an email to inform us that you have completed both requirements. Send emails to your admissions rep or to info@maritimeed.com. When this is received, the log in details for your Zoom Classroom will be sent to you.
